Sandra Hindman
Owner
She divides her time between Paris, Chicago, and New York. Expert in manuscript illumination, Sandra Hindman holds a Ph.D. in the History of Art and has written many books on the subject of illuminated manuscripts. She is Professor Emerita of Art History at Northwestern University, where she occasionally gives courses.

Gaia Grizzi
Office Manager - Paris
She received her degree in Art History in 2005 from the University of Parma, Italy, where she specialized in medieval iconography. She received a Masters II at the Ecole du Louvre in Museology, submitting a thesis on medieval manuscripts. She joined Les Enluminures in 2007.

Perrine Humeau
Co-Director - Paris
She studied Art History at the University of Paris X–Nanterre. Following an internship in Medieval Art at the V & A Museum, she received a Masters II at the Ecole du Louvre. She wrote her thesis on art in France around 1500, while an intern at the gallery.

Karen Gennaro
Co-Director - Paris
She holds a degree in literature from the University of Udine in Italy. She served as Office Manager of the Paris operation for 5 years, before leaving to work in television in Sicily for 2 years. She rejoined the team at Les Enluminures in January 2010.

Keegan Goepfert
Art Director - Chicago
He graduated from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois, with a B.A. degree in Art History (2005). His responsibilities include client contacts, art fairs, logistics, publicity, and many other matters.

Laura Light
Cataloguer and Researcher
She holds degrees in history from Bryn Mawr College, and medieval history from UCLA. She has published widely on the Paris Bible and its precursors, including an exhibition catalogue on the Bible for Harvard University, where she worked as cataloguer of medieval manuscripts at the Houghton Library. She is presently editing a book on “Form and Function in the Late Medieval Bible.”

Ariane Bergeron-Foote
Consultant
Based in Paris since 1998, she is Archiviste-paleographe (Diplome d'Archiviste-paleographe), receiving her degree from the Ecole des Chartes (Paris) in 2002. She has worked as cataloguer and researcher for nearly 15 years. Now as a consultant, she continues to collaborate with the Gallery, buying, describing and selling manuscripts. She also co-authors certain catalogues with Sandra Hindman.
